Homework Assignments and Events (Semester 1):

Students will be issued homework Monday through Thursday, and parents are strongly encouraged to review his/her child’s homework nightly for at least 30 minutes. All homework is due every Friday. Homework, while not weighted, will be incorporated in the student’s overall grade.

Regular Math 8

Monday, August 6th: write the order of operations that are used with each transformation
Tuesday, August 7th :what is the difference between all four transformations? (must be in paragraph format)
Wednesday, August 8th: if I have a figure that starts in QI which transformation(s) could have been applied if it ends up in QIII?
Thursday, August 9th: Create a figure that is in both QIII and QIV and then reflect it across the x-axis. (Use graph paper and make sure you graph the image and the pre-image)
Friday, August 10th: Study vocabulary notes and be sure that worksheets 91 - 94 are complete
